If you choose to pay by check or cash, please place the donation in an envelope with your name and the words "Trophy Fund" on the outside and place it in Julia Williamsen's folder at the building or mail it to the club (PO Box 60695, North Charleston, SC 29419).

Welcome to Charleston Dog Training Club

We are a non-profit affiliate club of the American Kennel Club, founded in 1959, to teach owners and their canine companions. We offer a variety of classes for pet dogs and competitors. Our members are involved  in a variety of canine events - Obedience, Rally, Conformation, Tracking, Scent Work, Barn Hunt, Fast CAT, and more.

To find a class please go to the Class/Event calendar on the menu. Hover over the class for information. Click on the class to register. If you are  a member, login prior to going to the Class/Event Calendar.

We require a minimum of a 72 hours notice if you wish to cancel your registration for a class to receive a partial refund.  A non-refundable $10 cancellation fee will be held for processing.  Cancellations less than 72 hours notice will not receive a refund but rather a credit towards another class.  For cancellations please contact us at

What we are doing to keep our facility clean and safe for you:

  • All water bowls should be removed from crates after use.The floor and crates will be sprayed with Accel/Rescue disinfectant at the end of the day by the instructor or last person training if there are no classes.
  • The use of masks will be voluntary.
  • Remember to use social distancing of 6 feet between persons. That is equal to the length of two Labradors.
  • Hand sanitizer is available and should be used on entry to the building, including when you return after pottying dogs. It should also be used after touching a dog.
