About this event
Prerequisites:
Your dog must already know the competitive foundation skills before taking this class. Sit, Down, Stand, Stays, Finish, Front and at least 3-5 steps of heel work on leash.
Each week you will learn new signs and how to perform them correctly. We will discuss how to sign-up for a trial, what to expect, understanding the rules and what the judge is looking for.
The basic objective of Rally is to provide an activity that does not require extensive precision for success. As described in the AKC Rally regulations, Rally is a sport in which you and your dog will navigate the course together, side-by-side, at a brisk pace. As you go through a course, at each sign your team will perform different exercises that can include various turns and commands such as sit, down, stay, etc. This is a great beginners sport.
