About this event
This drop-in session is designed for teams who want structured practice time in a focused, supportive environment. The emphasis is on obedience heeling, with rally elements incorporated to add variety and flow.
Who This is For
Teams beginning to work on heeling and obedience skills
Dogs preparing for rally or obedience competition
Handlers looking for structured practice without a formal class format
Each 90-minute session features a set heeling pattern and rally-style course, giving teams the opportunity to work their skills in a more realistic, sequence-based setting. Each working team receives at least two run-through opportunities per class. Teams may arrive anytime during class and will be added to the working queue.
This is a practice-focused session rather than a formal teaching class—a place to work on skills you’re building, try things out, and gain experience working patterns and courses.
First 45 minutes--Foundations/On-Leash work
Structured heeling patterns, incorporation of rally signs--Suitable for teams building skills or working toward CGC-level goals
Second 45 minutes--Advanced/Off-Leash work
Off-leash heeling, advanced sequences/rally elements, increased emphasis on precision
Flexible Training Format
This drop in is intentionally flexible and goal driven--advanced teams attending early may work at a higher level. Teams arriving later may still work on on-leash skills. Handlers can adjust exercises to match their current training goals.
This is not a rigid, one-size-fits-all class--it's an opportunity to practice in a structured environment that supports your individual progress.
