7PM: Basic Manners 1/Family Dog (6Wks)

Prerequisite: For Dogs 11-months and older at the start of first class.


Family Dog is equivalent to our STAR Puppy Program  with a few more skills added, but is for dogs 11-months and older for those owners who waited to start training.

Basic skills taught will be sit, down, stay, focus, drop-it, leave-it (It's Yer Choice), come when called, learn to settle, how to properly greet a person and walking on a leash.  We will also start work on impulse control with crate manners.

Owners will also learn:
How to properly play with their dog to get the most out of training and to help build a better connection.
How a marker system works and how it helps us to properly communicate with our dogs.

We require a minimum of 3 registered students to have this class and females in season may be asked to leave if are a distraction in class.

DHLPP or DHPP and Rabies are required to attend this class. You can email a copy to the instructor or bring them with you.

Please contact the class instructor by email if you have any questions pertaining to the class itself. Any other questions please direct those to the Training Director and we will do our utmost best to help you.
Cancellation Policy:
We require a minimum of a 72 hour notice if you wish to cancel your registration for this class to receive a partial refund. A $10 cancellation fee will be held for processing. Cancellations less than 72 hours notice will not receive a refund but rather a partial credit towards another class. For cancellations please contact us at charlestondogtrainingclub@gmail.com
