The event calendar shows upcoming club events. Select a view then use the navigation buttons to move
between dates. Click on the event to view more information, including the event description, times,
location, fees and any rules regarding attendance; you can also register for events from this screen.
Click on the magnifying glass on the toolbar to see search and filter options.
Classes are held onsite at the CDTC facility as well as off-site in surrounding areas.
Are you and your dog ready to try therapy work? The instructors in this class will share rules and regulations required by most therapy certification groups, expose you and your dog to a variety of situations using numerous offsite locations, and practice/discuss situations you may incur while performing therapy work.
Your dog should be at a Canine Good Citizen Level of obedience (CGC title or permission of instructor) and at least 1 year old to be tested for therapy work. This class WILL NOT be teaching basic obedience. Your dog should be comfortable with other dogs, people, and new situations. Testing for The Alliance of Therapy Dogs can be arranged after completion of this class.
This class will meet 4 Saturdays. First class 1:00--2:30 PM at CDTC, 2nd class 1:00-2:30 PM at Park Circle (meet at Dig in the Park on Montague), 3rd class 1:00-2:30 PM at Mt. Pleasant Towne Center (meet at Barnes and Noble in Towne Center Mt. Pleasant), Final class 1:00-2:30 PM downtown Charleston (meet at the Pineapple).

Get your AKC titles today. Evaluators will be on hand to do testing for you and your dog to earn multiples of titles.
$10 for testing if you haven‘t taken the CGC or Tricks class. If you were in our CGC or Tricks class there is no charge for your first test.
